How can I find out the firmware version of my device?
If your device has blocked itself and you can’t print the „report list” sheet from your device in a normal way, then in this situation the documentation can be only printed while the printer is in the service mode. In order to get your printer in the service mode, you should perform certain actions with your device. Below you can see a table showing a variety of Samsung devices, where you can clearly see how to print the report sheet according to your devices’ model if the printer is blocked.

I have a Samsung scx-3205 firmware .09 .Unfortunately for me your advices (USB_SN_Changer + Firmware_Fix_Samsung-SCX3200_
Your link for the firmware fix does not work http://adf.ly/6mUWG , so I downloaded an archive with the same name from another site. Maybe maybe it was not the same archive and I got unlucky.
Fortunately I downloaded from your long list another archive (with instructions in Romanian language) called FIX_FIRM_SCX-3200_V09-
At start, I had to put a scotch bad to cover the cartridge chip, then execute first Pasul 1.bat, then restart the printer, then execute Pasul 2.bat and wait for the printer to restart itself. It was much EASIER then changing the serial etc.
I recommend FIX_FIRM_SCX-3200_V09-
